2013 Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition
General Motors and Mattel joined forces to designed the new 2013 Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition. This special vehicle has made it official debut today at Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) in Las Vegas.
Same as the standard model, 2013 Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition come with two trim level includes 2LT or the 2SS trims. The 2LT trim will be powered by a 3.6-liter LFX V6 engine deliver 323 horsepower at 6800 rpm, while 2SS trim gets a 400 horsepower 6.2-liter L99 V8 when equipped with an automatic transmission and a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 paired with a manual transmission deliver 426 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque.
The customers who buy the manual 2SS trim also get a dual-mode exhaust system, as do buyers of the 2LT model with either transmission. Similar to the system found on the Camaro ZL1, the vacuum-actuated exhaust that provides a quieter driving experience at low engine speeds and a more aggressive sound during hard acceleration.
For the exterior design, the Chevy Camaro Hot Wheels Edition come with a very cool Kinetic Blue exterior paint finish with two-tone matte hood and rear taillight panel “blackout” graphics, red accent stripes on the front ZL1-sourced front grille, and flame decals on the rear fenders.
In addition, this cool vehicle will stand on 21-inch black wheels with a red outline stripe and since this is a special edition model. The automaker will also be a “Hot Wheels” logo on the grille and decklid plus fender “flames” graphics. The car’s hood will feature a two-tone matte hood graphic and the rear taillight panel will feature a “blackout” graphic.
On the interior, you will find all hot wheels theme which features a black leather-trimmed interior accented with red and black seat stitching with the Hot Wheels logo embroidered on the front seats, Hot Wheels-style flame decals on the door panels, and Hot Wheels Edition sill plates. All Chevy Hot Wheels models will be offered with Chevrolet’s MyLink infotainment system.
The new 2013 Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition will be offered for sale nationwide from early next year. It will be offered as a $6,995 upgrade on standard 2013 Chevrolet Camaro and Camaro Convertible. This price will be added to the Camaro’s standard price of $29,585 for the 2LT version and $37,035 for the 2SS version.
