2013 Chevrolet Malibu
General Motors or Chevrolet officially released the all-new 2013 Chevrolet Malibu. This model has made official debut at the 2012 New York auto show and at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show. This model will available in some version like LS, LT, LTZ and ECO.
The standard 2013 Chevrolet Malibu will be powered with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine which can produce 197 horsepower (17 percent more than the previous model). This model supported with a six-speed automatic transmission. While the top model powered with 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 259 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. This model can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds.
Technology takes center stage, finally, in the upcoming Malibu, with the new MyLink infotainment system, which according to GM “builds on the safety and security of OnStar and seamlessly integrates online services like Pandora internet radio and Stitcher SmartRadio.” One particularly cool feature is that the radio face swivels up and out to reveal a storage area just behind.
The 2013 Malibu lineup also offers greater safety, with 10 standard air bags, as well as an available rear view camera system, Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning. It is also the first 2013 midsize car to earn double honors for safety, including a 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and a 2012 Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety.
