2013 Kia pro_cee’d Three Door Hatchback
Kia Motors released the first official photos of the new hatchback model 2013 Kia pro_cee’d. Pro_cee’d will make its first world premier at 2012 Paris Auto Show. This model is third generation of the Kia Cee’d lineup.
2013 Kia pro_cee’d will be powered by four different 4-cylinder engine. The engine options will include (1.4-liter and 1.6-liter) gasoline and (1.4-liter and 1.6-liter) diesel units. All engine options can be paired with a six-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox or 6-speed manual transmission. But, for the 2013 Pro_cee’d version, Kia will also introduce a pair of turbocharged gasoline engines that will deliver between 120 to 183 horsepower.
The new model isn’t simply a three-door version of the regular 2012 Cee’d as it sports a different design from the A-pillars and back including a more rakish roofline, heavily pronounced rear fenders, together with new lights and tailgate. In addition, there are new fog lamp surrounds and chrome strips that connect the grille to the lights up front.
On the other hand and aside from the differences in space, the interior revisions seem to be limited to the trim décor of the dashboard and door panels.
The new 2013 Kia pro_cee’d will hit European showrooms early 2013, this model would not be available in Asian and American market. Price will be announced later, along with its official debut at 2012 Paris Auto Show.
