2013 Mercedes-Benz GL 63 AMG is the new high performance SUV from German Automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz. GL 63 AMG combining high-technology with an extensive range of standard equipment and pure ride comfort for up to 7-seat passengers. This model will be coming in November 2012 which claimed as a perfect blend of style and performance.
For the performance, 2013 Mercedes GL 63 will be powered with AMG 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine that releases the peak power of 550 horsepower @ 5250-5750 rpm and 760 Nm of torque @ 2000-5000 rpm. With this power 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL 63 AMG will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.9 second with 155 mph in the top speed. AMG engine will be supported with seven-speed AMG Speedshift transmission feature ECO start / stop in the driving mode C (Controlled Efficiency). If you want to feel this car as an aggressive SUV character, you can choose a S (Sport) mode and M (Manual), which automatically kills features ECO start / stop. Fuel consumption is claimed to 8.31 km / liter, while the CO2 emissions released 288 g/km.
The AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension with ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM roll stabilisation provides high-level driving dynamics and the comfort one would expect from the Mercedes brand. There is also a standard brakes are ventilated and perforated discs at all four corners 15.4 x 1.4 inches (front) and 13.6 x 1.0 inches (rear).
Mercedes-Benz GL 63 AMG comes with 5-spoke light-alloy wheels in format 10 x 21, painted titanium grey and with a high-sheen finish, fitted with tyres in size 295/40 R 21. The AMG front apron elegantly merges into the exclusive wheel-arch flaring. In order to accommodate the large 53.3 cm (21-inch) AMG light-alloy wheels with the wide-base 295 tyres, the flaring widens the vehicle by 22 millimetres on each side.
